This is the 33rd year since Chie Imai started designing the furs, and this year’s collection title is “MOSAIQUE de CHIE FUTURE” in which Chie places her message for dreams and aspiration for the future, and hoping to make this world a bright and positive place.

For the collection’s theme colors she selected “Eggshell white” and “Beige”.  “Green” and “Purple” are used as accent colors.

Chie’s identity MOSAIQUE de CHIE coats, Russian sable, Russian marten, Lynx cat, and very scarce, hard-to-find Russian Broadtail are designed casual, easy-to-wear for everyday use, and very versatile and compact for carrying.

With the hope for the children’s growth and future success, a children’s collection made from the finest, premium furs appears in this year’s Royal Chie collection for the very first time.  Back nearly 30 years ago when most fur colors were black and brown, Chie dyed her furs in full of various colors.  From then on, she has been proposing new, innovative fashions.  She hopes young people not to be stereotyped in ordinary knowledge but meet various challenges with a fresh idea.  It is Chie’s fervent hope that the children are more exposed to genuine, top-quality products from early childhood.

In 2006, Royal Chie was admitted to the right to purchase the premium “Purple Label” fur skins that come from less than 1% of all fur skins Kopenhagen Fur produces.  Screening and evaluation for the admittance are based on the member’s usage of the finest, premium fur skins, design qualities, and the company’s overall standing.  This represents the recognition of Royal Chie’s achievement on an international basis.  This year’s 09-10 Royal Chie collection, of course, introduces the furs which are the “Purple” label quality.

We hope you enjoy Chie Imai’s casual yet gorgeous collection.
