Kopenhagen Fur has admitted Royal Chie into 'Purple Club', the exclusive
organization of worldwide retailers of fur whose members have the right to
purchase the top quality 'Purple Label' furs.
The membership to the 'Purple Club' is limited to only one retailer per country; Royal Chie has been selected as the only member from Japan. Royal Chie passed the rigorous screening because of its continuous high quality and distinctive design of fur products.
Scandinavia is famous for having the largest fur cultivation industry in the world. The four countries, Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden have about 8,800 fur farms consisting of mostly mink and fox. In December 2004, Denmark became independent and established a fur cultivation organization to farm fur including mink, called Kopenhagen Fur. The Purple Club categorizes the quality of fur into four grades, Purple, Platinum, Burgundy, and Ivory, with the top grade being 'Purple.'
The fur skins with Kopenhagen Fur's 'Purple Label' are the most precious skins that are produced from less than 1 % of all fur skins. The right to purchase the 'Purple Label' fur is given to a single retailer in each country which has passed the thorough screening and evaluation on design according to international standards. The company in the United States that has obtained the membership into Kopenhagen Fur is Neiman Marcus, an established and well-reputed department store that produces many original fur product collections. It is a tremendous honor for Royal Chie from Japan to be admitted a membership in the exclusive 'Purple Club.'
In Tokyo in April 2007, Royal Chie will debut the top quality fur with the 'Purple Label' certified by Kopenhagen at their 2007 Fall/Winter Collection runway presentation. The Collection will be presented with both the top quality fur skins and Royal Chie's creative touch. Taking advantage of this honorable occasion, Royal Chie will continue to grow as the brand loved and trusted by many customers.
