Cocktail Party for Christmas at ROYAL CHIE
Gorgeous! Young Celebrities in American Society Attended
“Famous Paparazzi” Crushed the Party

In the middle of holiday season, New York is freezing with a temperature of below zero, and is in the peak of the fur season. The City might be frozen, but a hot cocktail party which was filled with young energy was held at ROYAL CHIE's Madison Avenue boutique. A special window display with Christmas themed dress and fur in snow white color = above = welcomed the guests.
The host was Chiaki Imai, both Chie Imai's daughter and right arm, who is responsible for ROYAL CHIE's marketing and PR. She has been actively appearing in many fashion magazines lately, representing the brand. This party was organized to give the opportunity for Chiaki to entertain the young celebrities of her generation in America's social circles. Fresh sushi was served as an appetizer by a chef from a well known sushi restaurant in Manhattan, followed by fresh fruits, salad, and Champagne. All the guests seemed to be enjoying themselves. Even the famous paparazzi, Mr. Patrick McMillan attended the party and took many photos of the young celebrities. He was very welcome because to have him there meant that ROYAL CHIE has become the brand that attracts various celebrities regardless their generation.
[The top photo in the previous page: from left, Ms. Tinsley Mortimer, one of the most notable young celebrities in society who is sought by many fashion and gossip magazines, Chiaki Imai, and Ms. Dabney Mercer, sister of Ms. Mortimer's] Ms. Mortimer was one of the most enthusiastic attendees of the party. She was busy checking out the glamorous bag with white fur trimmings as soon as she arrived. She and Chiaki talked about fashion as Ms. Mortimer tried to match the bag with her silk satin dress. Ms. Mortimer is from a prestigious family and is very popular in social circles, yet she is very down to earth. "You must be tired from a long flight," she said to Chiaki who had just flew in to New York from Japan and rushed to the party from the airport. She is friendly, elegant and has excellent etiquette and taste.

Approximately 150 people attended the party. They filled up every inch of the space of ROYAL CHIE's Madison Avenue boutique. They enjoyed not only drinking cocktails and engaging in conversation, but more importantly shopping in the boutique, like a guest in the photo, above. Attendees were busy trying out the fur items such as coats, shawls, hats and the boa with silk satin bow ties.
Chie Imai stayed behind the scenes to support her young staff during the cocktail party. However, she was in the spotlight at another important event. She was one of the main guests at the New York Botanical Garden's annual banquet, the Winter Wonderland Ball. She was invited as a recognized contributor. ROYAL CHIE donated profits of the fashion show held at St. Regis Hotel in October to the organization.

The New York Botanical Garden's committee consists of highly regarded professionals and intellectuals in various fields such as the Fairchilds and the Cuomos. Chie Imai's effort to return her business profits to the community, in this case to preserve The New York Botanical Garden, was greatly valued and appreciated by them. Her name was listed as a supporter on the table right next to this year's banquet sponsor, Rolex USA. It was a good opportunity for her to meet many distinguished talents in various fields, including the designer Alberta Ferretti. She enjoyed talking with her at the event =right=.
Fur sales in New York is going well especially since the frigid weather continues to wrap up the city. Other luxury items are also selling well. It looks like a good season for ROYAL CHIE.
